Savoir Flair : Polly Platt

What ever Polly Platt writes , is a must read book for anyone  traveling to Paris for the first time!

Her books are as humorous as they are useful.  Funny stories ,and how to do "it" the French Way! What should you expect in hotels? Taxis? In cafe restrooms? ect...  It's here!

"Culture Shock! France: Sally Adamson Taylor

French Culture. If you think the French are rude. Then read this book before you go! The French not rude. There are some people there that "ARE" rude, and they happen to be French. The book is aimed at respecting other Cultures. They are not Americans, and their customs, and their attitudes can be very different from our own. And the French "Are" different. Some of their ways, we will never understand... but some of them are just so very "French" ,you could fall in love with them, and never want to leave. And something in us ,perhaps changes us for the better, and we still return home, happy to be from American. We don't have to change our ways,or be on the defensive. When we understand some of their ways, we learn something in ourselves too.
*** Note
"Culture Shock", as put out over 30 Books on different cultures. The other books are listed on the inside page. What ever country you may plan to visit, pick up one of their books. Enjoy, relax, and have a good read.
***Look in the Travel Section.
