The Right Bank, a few sites and Attractions

On the Right Bank.Starting near the Seine and working out

Opera de Paris Bastille, the new Opera House

Place de la Bastille. The French Revolution started here, with the storming of the prison. The Bastille was once the home of Voltaire and the Marquis de Sade

Place Des Vosges, one of the most beautiful squares in Paris, was once the site of duels.

Hotel de Sully, built in 1624

Hotel de Ville, City Hall

Bazar de L'Hotel de Ville, right across the street, shopping, everything under the sun.

Pompidou center, home of a large collection of modern art, you cannot miss it, with all the blue pipe-ducts.

Musee de Histoire de France, these are really two homes. That holds the French Archives. Napoleons will is here.
Musee Picasso. to settle their tax problems, Picasso's family gave this vast collection of his work to France.
Tour St. Jacques, this tower was part of a church destroyed after the revolution. Dates back to 1523.
