Hello, and welcome to my Site. Here you will find Just a few Cubes from my Rubik...

So if you have some time , get a bottle of water , bottle of wine , some green tea ,or a cup of coffee, and come in for a visit. I hope you will be , entertained, and amused.

There is nothing here that will change will your life. This is just a little site to wile away the time. Almost everything here is interactive. There are no 'computer games'. I enjoy working and finding scripts that are fun to play with. There are at least a dozen or so little calculators. I discovered them while working on my " Guide to the Parisians". I thought adding a few conversion charts would be helpful for my friends going to Paris for the first time( or just thinking about going to Europe) . I think we are the only country that has not given up inches and yards ! Well once I found a few of the scripts and figured out how to work with them, I was hooked!

I originally had only one site. I have since divided it up into 3 different sites. I am sure I will continue to "Dolly Lhama" off from the Original. My original site was getting to large to update in a timely manner. DSL is not an option. It would sometimes take up to 18 hours to update! I had over 280 megabytes!

So my smaller sites will focus on special areas of the Original. My site "http://napoleonsmistress.tripod.com, my domain name for the site is : www.lookingforalice.com , and will always be my largest site. It contains any and everything that floats in my gray-matter at any given time. It covers my favorite music, books, recipes, all the way to other side of the spectrum...Serial killers, vampires, madmen to fetishes. I am working on a history section now. It has become my therapy and a great outlet and hobby for me. I have finally found a way to but my passion for research to use!! Any of my smaller Sites will be spin-offs from that site. I just found I way to keep my cost down, save a lot of time updating to just one site, and an easier way for my friends to find the info they may have asked me for. But, all of my small sites will be from my "Alice" site.

My site "http://pariscafesandme.tripod.com " will generally contain only my Parisian interests. The site you are on now "Balzac" will contain all the little interactive calculators and user-friendly games to wile away the time.

If I " Dolly Lhama"a smaller sites off of "Alice" I will always list a link to the new Site on the Homepage on all of my Sites.
